I absolutely love this desktop computer. It came beautifully packaged, not a piece at all was damaged, marked, or anything at any time. I was relieved.
The computer was very easy to put together, and the people who work here sent videos of how to put it together which I felt thankful for the consideration. Special shoutout to Brandon Walker and Vince Royales who helped me with everything.
The computer itself runs like a dream. Everything is easy to install, loads swiftly, plays all the software i've downloaded just fine. There's lots of USB ports and stuff for easy convenient access. I personally bluetooth - linked my desktop to my Google Dot / Amazon Alexa so that I wouldn't need to purchase speakers for my desktop and it worked perfectly. I have no complaints at all regarding the customer service, the packaging, the transportation, or the desktop itself. This computer is also really good for work and school usage. Truly a wonderful desktop computer and attentive reps that helped me every step of the way when ordering this computer online. 10/10

First, I'll say that the Apex team is highly professional. I appreciated a scheduled chat with a representative to make sure the configuration I ordered was optimal for my uses. Of course, there's a line somewhere between "optimization" and "upsell", but I am quite happy with the product I ended up with.
There were some issues identified during testing, and I was kept in the loop about that. Then a hurricane hit, and we I received clear updates about that.
There were some technical problems once I received it, specifically "blue screen of death" crashes over and over. I had to re-install Windows from the (helpfully included) USB stick, which then led to some confusion about which Windows version / product key applied to my software. There were a bunch of emails back and forth to sort that out but the team was quite responsive and I felt supported during the process.
As of now, it seems to be working great and paying dividends in terms of the huge upgrade in graphical capabilities as compared to the work desktop PCs we've had thus far. My kid uses it for flight simulation. I sneak in and do some Photoshop stuff that was taxing my work PC but is a snap on this machine.
It has an attractive, high-end feel to it. The cabinet is metal and glass and shows off the innards well, with multiple fans and some colorful lights in there. It's big, but of course that's what you need to get the proper components for our uses.
Overall, I'm quite happy right now. This is our first gaming PC, and my kid is thrilled and the Apex team showed itself to provide high-caliber service even when stress-tested with some thorny technical issues and a hurricane!

It started out very rough as the company stayed logged in so my son couldn't set up the computer. We called the customer service # and the guy was very very helpful. We were also missing a flash drive that was needed but the gentleman worked around it. It took an hour to fix the problem but the guy got it done and it's been great so far. Other then the initial headache it's a good computer.

It was kind of a little on the expensive side, but it was worth it in my opinion. I haven't had a problem since I got it, (or rather a problem with the computer.) It was well put together and overall I recommend this PC, as it is affordable, as far as computers go, and it will get the job done well. Also the customer service team was great. The answered my questions professionally and honestly, I can't ask for more.

This computer is everything I wanted, I tweaked a few things like an upgrade from the Intel i3 to the i5 and a 4060 Ti along with a Nvidia 1TB graphics card coolers and fans. I play a lot of high graphics games and it’s been awesome with no issues!! I definitely recommend this company it took a while to get it (back order parts) but it was still on time for the deadline they gave me!

I would rate higher because the computer itself is wonderful, runs great, and is overall an amazing computer. The build quality is top notch and everything works beyond expectations- the issue however was the experience from ordering to receiving the computer. My husband and I placed the order around the beginning of February l with the expectation that the computer should arrive around the middle of March, which was fine considering these computers are assembled by hand per order. Unfortunately, outside of the initial email confirmation of the order we heard nothing about our order until we inquired about it around the expected arrival time- we called and we're told that the order was built and will arrive a week after the day we called. Sure enough a week and a half past and we called back, we then we're told the computer has not even been prepped to have been built and they we're waiting on parts. A few calls and upgrades later, the computer was then shipped out and we got it around April 7th- almost three months after the initial purchase. If proper communication would have been conducted the issue would have been much less of one and the issues would have been fine- but once a proper line of communication was held, everything went smoothly and again I can't stress how great the computer is and how great the build quality is, unfortunately it is a bit overshadowed by the experience itself.

I am very satisfied with the tower that apex built for me, even if it took some time to send it out. It's a quality product and worth the wait if you are unable to build your own for whatever reason. It does the rendering I need smoothly, and powers every program I have put on it. There's also a seamless gaming experience if you are a gamer. I also dig that a tech called me to make sure this is exactly what I wanted, and went over the items to ensure I was getting the quality I'd need for my hobbies. I'd order through them again, and have recommended to friends.

Heard about Apex from growling sidewinder. My old one was broke and decided too buy a custom made new one from apex. The website is super easy too use, almost too easy. But I ordered one, and soon realized after some research that it will take months too receive it. After months of research I discovered everybody hates this company and I felt like I screwed up bigtime. And their return policy was thuggish. It was too late too ask for a cancellation. So I just prayed lol. Now I finally get it. I opened it and immediately noticed the case is a totally different brand that the one I ordered....oh well, still a decent one.... The foam they use inside the case was dangerous too remove, very hard expanding foam. Had too use a knife. I immediately download Arma 3 and set everything up and get into the old Vietnam mike force server. Runs better than I've ever experienced. I've noticed when the server has its seldom glitch that gives you bad frames for a bit, most people complain of 8fps, and they can barely play. Im still getting 20 +Fps. And even lower, it still plays smoother, seeming like higher frames than usual. Its still a mediocre PC, I can't stand too dish out thousands on something for gaming.
Its been a few months now. Its still running like always. No problems what so ever. I can play DCS online no problem even running the graphics up, roadway traffic, etc. I've ran this PC pretty hard to test it and it's going great. Let's hope it's stays this way. If any problems come up I will try too update this review, if not, I'll certainly make another.

First time getting a custom computer versus a store bought and wow, the difference is extremely noticable! It took a bit of time to get it because of shortages on parts, but once I got it I cannot express just how happy I am with the experience. When it's time to eventually upgrade in the future I know I'll be back.

Had to deal with several delays on the build, and needed to call or email to find out anything about them. Ended up getting a refund on the monitor just to avoid waiting weeks maybe even a months more when it was already over a month late.
The PC runs fine, but I wouldn't recommend the company unless they've addressed their issues with establishing accurate deadlines and communicating issues proactively.

This is a very good computer. For a first pc, I highly recommend the Apex Gold option. For many of the games I play, I’m able to run steady frames, with medium to high graphics with little to no lag. However, if you’re looking for a pc to use with VR, I don’t recommend the Gold to be your first option. Many games are still playable, but you can expect lag and stuttering. With that being said, I’ve had a very positive experience with the computer, it came in the box safely, ready to plug and play. The team at Apex did a great job building the PC. If you’re able to be patient, this is a great option for a computer.

I would like to start this off with I have no problems with the computer and it works great and is exactly what I wanted and paid for, but I the pc on June 21st of 2021 and after a lot of emails between me and the company I had nothing much for why my computer was being delayed so much and genuinely thought I was being scammed only after calling the company personally did I learn that my CPU was out of stock and they gave me the option to downgrade and get a 145$ rebate I agreed, two weeks later it arrived on November 29th. the computer itself is great and I had no problem setting it up however, the communication was poor, I had sent upwards of 20+ emails to the company and the majority of them were replied with "your order is facing delays" I only got one email that said my GPU was out of stock then when I asked if I could downgrade they then said that it was actually in stock but still could not give me a reason why My computer was not finished..

My son hasn't gotten to use it yet.
The PC came with a part that apparently fell off during shipping and it took a long time to get that addressed and now he can't connect to wifi. So we are trying to address that issue at this stage.
Kind of bummed out, actually.
I am amazed by my son's ability to be patient with something he has waited a long time for, received, and still can't use. He is certainly handling this better than I am.
We are working with a support person who seems to be doing his best to help us. He never looses his cool or becomes impatient. I understand that there may be some staffing issues but with the amount of times I have had to check in and find out what's going on is frustrating.
I hope this computer is worth it. I really do.

its a great pc for the price point, although i upgraded mine a bit so the total was about $1200. my only issue is that the rgb fans are a bit annoying to change the colors and if you dont know much about pcs you can easily accidently un plug something. but overall a great pc. for any buyers though i would HIGHLY suggest changing the CPU to an intel i5 instead of the i3. the i3 kinda sucks, and thats why i upgraded to the i5. (pardon my bad grammer i typed this at 4am)

Out of the box the pc is great and ready to go. I love the look and feel of the pc, it feels quality. My only issue is that I don’t know if it is WiFi compatible and I could not connect it to the internet, other than that, amazing pc.

One word, there crooked.
They supposedly just forgot to put in a liquid cooler and they just forgot to put in the Seagate hard drive. They also forgot to put brackets on the cpu so when I go to put a different fan on it just wont go on ..huh. If I were you or if I could do it again I would go with another builder. Oh, and they took over 6 weeks to build and ship the pc minus the aforementioned parts and aggravation. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere!

I received the Apex Gold with 16 GB Ram, a GTX 1050 GPU and a custom (non RGB) case- The decision to choose Apex was one that was carefully made due to their reputation, price and the fact they are a small business that is here in the USA.
I cannot even begin to tell you how pleased I am with this computer. For starters the workmanship is astounding, with great care taken with wire management and general aesthetics. This computer is a work of art- granted the looks of the machine are superficial but seeing the pride that is evident in the build and having a display worthy computer means alot to me...Hopefully I can edit a photo in later but for the moment i've been too busy testing things (...and gaming nonstop , lol) to take one.
The most important factor is the performance and now that i've had a weekend to test things fully, to say that I'm really impressed would be an understatement.
On the multitasking end of the spectrum this computer is downright insane. I played six different 1080 HD videos at the same time and was able to surf the web, look through files and pictures and use the computer with zero slowdown. I'm not exaggerating either- You couldnt tell that 6 HD videos were playing at one because all other operations were happening instantaneously.
Next I was playing 7d2d which is very optimized, voxel based game that is a resource hog on the CPU/RAM end. Running at medium settings in 1080 (very good for this game although it doesnt look graphically intensive) I managed 40-50 FPS and could minimize the game instantly , go to 'google chrome' , pull up youtube and play a video- Then jump back into the game with the video playing in the background... All instantly. This is huge because with my old computer (it also had 16 GB of ram ) this would have taken probably 5 minutes and I would be running the game on low settings in 720P and barely achieving 20-30 FPS.
On the GPU end of things I was able to run Subnautica in high settings , 1080, and maintain a good 50 FPS average... Which again, is just insane with a build at this price.
I'm not going to list all of the games ive tested but on the performance end, this machine is punching far above its weight... Seeing what this doing with a 2GB video card is unbelievable .
I've been a gamer for all of my life but I've always had to make do with really old hardware and cheap computers (and consoles) because PC gaming can be a huge expense. Apex has allowed to me to be budget conscious and not sacrifice good performance and provided a very well though out build that shows that care has been taken in every regard.
I would recommend them to everyone.

I ordered the gold for my 12 yr old son for Christmas and he couldn't be happier. I did my research before making this purchase and none of the other custome builders could come close to what Apex is offering for the price. The other builders were charging anywhere between 7-800 for something comparable to the gold And NO SSD! Great computer,great price and great customer service. I couldn't be happier.

We purchased a PC for my son for Christmas, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We turned to Apex after another company dropped the ball after we placed a Black Friday order with them. Due to the short time frame, we had concerns about it arriving in time, but the team at Apex not only came through, but they kept us up to date on the shipping and made absolutely sure we had it on time. After that, we ran into a few hiccups getting everything set up (due to my technical skills), but the Apex team came through again, even providing online tech support on Christmas Day! I can't say enough nice things about them. My son loves the PC, and it was everything he was hoping for, and more. I will recommend Apex to everyone!
